gudruns salon
I have initiated gudrun’s salon in January 2009, hoping to create a forum for professional and creative discussions about art – always with an artist as the point of departure. I chose the salon as the expression because it has references both to strong women and revolutionary thoughts. A salon is traditionally organized in a private home. The salon was often organized by women and emerged sometime during the 17th century. The most well known type was the literary salon. I Denmark Kamma Rahbek’s salon in Bakkehuset in the early 19th century has received a permanent position in history.

The artist in the salon has so far been:
Anders Bojen og Kristoffer Ørum, DK
Stine Marie Jacobsen, DK
Jacob Borges, DK
Jonn Herschend, USA
klara Hobza, Czech Republic
Lea porsager,DK
Jester Aabille, DK
Cecilia de Jong, DK
Jette Hye Jin Mortensen, DK/KOR
Olof Olsson, SWE
